Horse Riding
Farsyde is the perfect place for riders of all abilities to enjoy the spectacular coastal
countryside. Small groups of capable riders can enjoy riding through fields, ancient woods, streams and miles of glorious moorland with 360degrees panoramic views, with the sea nearly always in sight.
All the many bridleways are linked together by the scenic former Scarborough
to Whitby rail path which provides miles of traffic-free riding as it climbs gradually towards Ravenscar and the beautiful headland giving wonderful views of the majestic sweep of the bay.
Riding on the beach is for experienced riders who can splash in the waves and pools
and have the novelty of riding through the narrow streets of Robin Hood’s Bay.
Novice riders can enjoy sedate rides from the farm along the rail path and quiet
lanes and the chance to ride through streams.
Children over six years.
All riding is subject to weather and ground conditions, and availability. Riding hats to current standards and suitable footwear must be worn and a riding registration form must be filled in prior to riding.
