Terms & Conditions
1. Cottages are available from 4.00 p.m. in winter and 5.00 p.m. in summer, unless prior arrangements have been made. We would be grateful if you could arrive within two hours of those times. Cottages must be vacated by 10 a.m. at the end of your stay.
2. Reservations may be made by phoning 01947 880249 or booking on line. Verbal reservations are binding from the point of booking. Payment of deposits can be made by card or a cheque ,made payable to Mrs. A.Green, may be sent by post to arrive within five days. We do not accept bookings by e-mail other than those from overseas. On-line bookings may be made. Short breaks are payable in full at the time of booking.
3. Each cottage is carefully looked after and prepared for your arrival, and it is then the guests’ responsibility to leave it clean and tidy for the following visitors. Guests who have neither the time nor inclination to attend to this may book our cleaning on departure service at the appropriate fee. A returnable bond is payable at the time of balance payments appropriate to the cleaning service charge.
4. Any breakage, damage or malfunction apparent on arrival must be reported as soon as possible , and any incurred during occupation must be reported before departure.
5. If you wish to bring a pet, please discuss this with us before booking. One small dog (over two years old) is allowed in the Mews cottages. Sorry, no pets are allowed in Mistal Cottage or Farsyde House.
6. All reservations will be acknowledged in writing. If for any reason the accommodation becomes unavailable, all money paid by the hirer, or the amount equal in proportion to the unexpired part of the hire period, will be returned to the hirer who will have no further claim against the owners.
7. We strongly advise all our guests to take out cancellation insurance. However, we will try to let the property and refund the appropriate part of the rent. Deposits are not returnable. If re-letting is not possible, the owners reserve the right to claim the full hire charge.
8. Special conditions apply to guests wishing to book more than one cottage. Please ask.
9. The owners cannot accept any responsibility for injury sustained by any visitor, or for loss or damage to vehicles or effect brought on to the property by visitors. Please tell us in advance if you would like our package of wine, flowers etc. for your special event the items of which will be charged as ordered.
At Christmas, all the cottages have Christmas trees, lights and decorations.
